Job description

Flight Booking: Assisting customers with flight reservations, including researching available flights, providing information on fares, schedules, and seating options, and helping customers select the most suitable flight based on their preferences and budget. Ticket Issuance: Issuing airline tickets to customers, either electronically or in print format, and processing payment transactions accurately and efficiently using the airline's reservation system or computerized ticketing software. Reservation Changes: Handling reservation changes or modifications requested by customers, such as rebooking flights, changing travel dates, upgrading seat assignments, or adding special services or amenities to existing bookings. Fare Calculation: Calculating fares, taxes, fees, and surcharges for flight tickets, applying discounts or promotional offers as applicable, and providing customers with accurate pricing information for their travel itineraries. Itinerary Planning: Assisting customers with planning their travel itineraries, including coordinating connecting flights, arranging layovers, and providing information on transit visa requirements or airport transfer options. Customer Service: Providing courteous, professional, and personalized service to customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the booking process. Travel Documentation: Advising customers on travel documentation requirements, such as passports, visas, and health certificates, and ensuring that passengers have the necessary documents and information for their journey. Special Assistance: Assisting passengers with special needs or requests, such as unaccompanied minors, passengers with disabilities, or passengers requiring special meals or seating arrangements, and ensuring that their needs are accommodated during the booking process and throughout their journey. Flight Information: Providing customers with up-to-date information on flight status, delays, cancellations, and other travel-related updates, and assisting them with making alternative arrangements in case of disruptions or changes to their travel plans. Sales and Promotion: Promoting additional services or upgrades, such as travel insurance, hotel accommodations, car rentals, or vacation packages, and generating additional revenue through upselling or cross-selling opportunities. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of customer bookings, transactions, and communications using reservation systems, databases, or filing systems, and ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations. Continuous Learning: Staying updated on airline policies, procedures, fare rules, and industry trends through ongoing training, professional development, and participation in airline-sponsored programs or workshops.
