Job description

Customer Service: Assist customers in booking flights, providing information about flight schedules, routes, fares, and travel options. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with professionalism and courtesy. Ticket Reservations: Use airline reservation systems (such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) to check seat availability, book flights, issue tickets, and process reservations accurately and efficiently. Fare Calculation: Calculate fares, taxes, and additional fees accurately based on the customer's travel itinerary, class of service, and any applicable discounts or promotions. Itinerary Planning: Help customers plan their travel itineraries by providing options for connecting flights, layovers, and travel dates that best suit their preferences and budget. Seat Assignments: Assign seats to passengers based on their preferences, special requests (such as aisle or window seats), and airline policies. Issuing Tickets: Generate and issue electronic or paper tickets to customers, ensuring all necessary details are included and providing clear instructions for check-in and boarding. Processing Payments: Accept payments for ticket bookings, process credit card transactions, and issue receipts or invoices as required. Handle cash transactions securely and accurately. Changes and Cancellations: Assist customers with changes to their travel plans, including rebooking flights, changing travel dates, or cancelling reservations, following airline policies and procedures. Travel Documentation: Ensure customers have the necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and entry requirements, and provide guidance on visa applications and travel insurance if needed. Flight Information: Keep customers informed about flight status updates, delays, cancellations, and schedule changes, and assist with rebooking or alternative travel arrangements as necessary. Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Promote additional services such as travel insurance, hotel accommodations, car rentals, and tour packages to enhance the customer's travel experience and increase revenue. Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on airline industry regulations, ticketing policies, and travel advisories to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to customers.
