Flight Reservations: You assist customers in booking flights by providing information on available routes, schedules, and fares. You use computerized reservation systems (CRS) to check seat availability, confirm bookings, and issue tickets. Ticket Sales: You sell airline tickets to customers through various channels, including in-person at ticket counters, over the phone, or online. You ensure accuracy in ticket pricing, payment processing, and issuing of tickets according to airline policies and procedures. Booking Modifications: You handle changes or modifications to existing flight bookings, such as date changes, seat upgrades, or cancellations. You follow airline guidelines and fare rules to process changes accurately and efficiently. Check-In Assistance: You assist customers with the check-in process, either at the airport or online, ensuring they have boarding passes and are aware of baggage allowances and security procedures. Customer Inquiries: You respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance on a wide range of topics, including flight schedules, route options, travel documents, visa requirements, and airline policies. You strive to provide accurate and helpful information to meet customer needs. Promotions and Discounts: You inform customers about promotional offers, discounts, and special deals on airfares, ancillary services, or travel packages. You may recommend relevant upgrades or add-on services to enhance the customer's travel experience. Payment Processing: You process payments for ticket purchases, ancillary services, and other travel-related expenses using cash, credit/debit cards, or electronic payment systems. You ensure transactions are processed securely and accurately, following established procedures. Documentation: You prepare and distribute travel documents, including e-tickets, boarding passes, and itineraries, to customers in a timely manner. You ensure that all necessary travel documents are provided and that customers understand their travel arrangements. Compliance and Regulations: You ensure compliance with airline regulations, government regulations, and industry standards related to ticketing, reservations, and passenger documentation. You stay informed about changes in regulations and update procedures accordingly. Customer Service Excellence: You provide excellent customer service throughout the ticketing process, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You represent the airline in a professional and courteous manner, enhancing the overall customer experience.
