Financial Reporting: Preparing Financial Statements: Compiling and analyzing financial data to prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports. Ensuring Accuracy: Verifying the accuracy of financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP - Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Bookkeeping and Record-keeping: Recording Transactions: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Reconciling Accounts: Performing bank reconciliations and reconciling discrepancies in financial records. Financial Analysis and Planning: Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts based on historical data and future trends. Financial Performance Analysis: Analyzing financial performance metrics, such as profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, and efficiency ratios, to assess the financial health of the organization. Tax Compliance and Reporting: Preparing Tax Returns: Calculating and preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
