Job description

Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Accountants use accounting software and spreadsheets to record transactions and reconcile accounts. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Accountants collaborate with management to develop financial plans, monitor budget variances, and provide financial insights to support decision-making. Tax Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., income tax, sales tax) in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Accountants ensure timely submission of tax payments and assist with tax planning to minimize liabilities. Auditing: Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits to verify accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations. Accountants prepare audit schedules, provide supporting documentation, and address audit findings as needed. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, interpret financial data, and recommend improvements to financial performance.
