Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Bookkeeping: Recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Tracking accounts payable and receivable, expenses, and income to ensure accuracy and completeness. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitoring budget variances and analyzing financial performance against budgeted targets. Taxation: Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Advising on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial efficiency. Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to management. Supporting decision-making processes with financial analysis and reports. Auditing: Coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits. Ensuring audit requirements are met and addressing audit findings or recommendations. Payroll Administration: Processing payroll transactions, calculating salaries, deductions, and benefits. Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with labor laws and regulations. Financial Systems and Software: Utilizing accounting software and financial management systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) to record transactions, generate reports, and manage financial information effectively. Compliance and Regulations: Staying updated with accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements. Ensuring adherence to internal policies and external reporting standards. Financial Controls: Establishing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Implementing best practices for financial management and governance. Cash Management: Managing cash flow, monitoring banking activities, and optimizing cash balances. Forecasting cash needs and making recommendations for investment or financing decisions. Communication and Collaboration: Communicating financial information and insights effectively to stakeholders, including executives, management, and external parties. Collaborating with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
