Curriculum Development: Designing and developing lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with the accountancy curriculum standards and objectives. Instruction: Teaching various accounting principles, concepts, theories, and techniques to students through lectures, discussions, presentations, and practical exercises. Financial Statements: Explaining how to prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and statements of changes in equity. Bookkeeping and Accounting Software: Teaching students how to record financial transactions, maintain accounting records, and use accounting software programs effectively. Budgeting and Financial Planning: Providing instruction on budgeting techniques, financial planning processes, and methods for forecasting future financial performance. Taxation: Explaining the fundamentals of taxation, including tax laws, regulations, calculations, and reporting requirements for individuals and businesses. Auditing: Introducing students to auditing principles, practices, and procedures, and teaching them how to conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. Cost Accounting: Teaching students how to analyze and control costs, allocate expenses, and make decisions based on cost information in various business settings. Ethics and Professional Standards: Discussing ethical considerations, professional standards, and codes of conduct relevant to the accounting profession, and promoting integrity and honesty in accounting practices.
