Job description

Installation: You would install various types of air conditioning systems, including window units, split systems, central air conditioning systems, and ductless mini-split systems. This involves carefully following installation instructions, connecting components, and ensuring proper placement and alignment of equipment. Maintenance: Regular maintenance is essential for the optimal performance and longevity of air conditioning systems. You would perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning air filters, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating moving parts, inspecting electrical connections, and testing system controls. Repairs: When air conditioning systems malfunction or break down, you would diagnose the issue and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality. This may involve troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration problems, replacing faulty components, and testing the system to ensure proper operation. Troubleshooting: You would use your technical expertise to identify and diagnose problems with air conditioning systems, such as inadequate cooling, strange noises, or airflow issues. This may require using diagnostic tools, conducting tests, and analyzing system performance to pinpoint the root cause of the problem. Refrigerant Handling: Handling refrigerants safely and responsibly is a critical aspect of the job. You would be responsible for recovering, recycling, and recharging refrigerants in accordance with environmental regulations and industry best practices.
